What’s Their Destination?

Have you ever gone to a public place and just sat there, looking at all the people walking by and asked yourself this question: “What’s their destination… heaven or hell?”

When you stop and think about it, every single person on the face of the earth ultimately has one of two eternal destinations; it’s either heaven or hell.

One of today’s tragic realities is, that here’s a significant number of Christians who’ve become overtly timid in their testimony for Christ Jesus. The trepidation for many is that, of stepping beyond being politically correct and politely centered. The fear of stepping on someone else’s toes has virtually stopped most believers in their walk of witnessing. It’s truly most unfortunate that our societies’ pressures, which demand non-offensive questioning of one’s religious beliefs, has filtered into our own ideologies, permeating the way most Christians present the gospel message.

What’s their destination… heaven or hell? A simple question comprised of six words. It’s direct and to the point with no compromise for any gray area. It’s a question for all time, for it demands thinking of the eternal not just the temporal.

1 John 5:11-12:   “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”

The eternal security of heaven and the unquenchable fires of hell are far too serious of topic and must never be geared to accommodate the listener’s itchy ears. Anything but unadulterated biblical whole truth must always be the message spoken. Our primary objective in presenting the good news of God’s grace, mercy, love, forgiveness and Salvation must always be proclaimed, grounded upon the Word of God. The truth, His truth and the whole truth!

What’s their destination… heaven or hell? To this question, we should consider with equal relevance: “Am I willing to allow God to use me to impart His truth and His heavenly route?”
