Due to travel restrictions we are unable to do our annual Surf-&-Serve camp/mission this summer. But restrictions on camps and parks within the US have been lifted, so we are planning summer camp this year at Pine Valley Bible Camp. Pine Valley has met all heath requirements, but in the event of a camp cancelation due to health concerns, all payments will be fully refunded.
Dates: Thursday July 30th, 3pm — Sunday August 2nd, 11am (4 days/3 nights/8 meals)
Ages: Jr. High and High School (Incoming 7th – graduated 12th)
Camp: Pine Valley Bible Conference Center: 8668 Pine Creek Rd Pine Valley, CA 91962 (http://pinevalleybible.com)
Cost: $200 (includes, lodging, select activities, t-shirt and all meals). Due by July 22nd.
Free Activities: Pool & water slide, Giant Slip-n-slide, Basketball, Game Room, Tire Swing, Bocce Ball, Aero Ball, Horseshoes, Disc golf, Volleyball, Ga-Ga Ball, 9-Square
Extra Activities: Zipline ($5), Vertical Playpen ($5), Arrow Tag ($10), Dirt Scooters ($10), Laser Tag ($10)
Permission Slips: Both camp and church permission slips must be turned in by July 22nd secure your spot.
Depart: Meet at church at 2:30pm Thursday July 30th, departing at 3:30pm
Return: Returning to church Sunday August 2nd around 12:30pm
Heath guidelines: Pine Valley Bible Conference Center (PVBC) falls under San Diego County restaurant, Park, and hotel guidelines and has been approved for operation. Here are some of the policies in place; Cabin sleeping capacity has be reduced, all guests will bring their own sleeping bags/bedding, towels, toiletries, face masks and refillable water bottles. Retreat groups will not be mixed with any other retreat groups and will be given separate pool times, meal times, actives areas etc. Guidelines states that groups within the same cohort (same group) can be together without masks. The PVBC The staff will be wearing masks and following all guidelines set by the county, including food service, cleaning, and any other safety policies. As things change with the county regulations, PVBC will adjust accordingly.
