Our Vision

Our three-fold vision as a church is:

The Whole Bible ~ A Whole Christian ~ The Whole World
God’s never changing truth for an ever changing world!

The Whole Bible

The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God; it is relevant, alive, and applicable to our lives today. Therefore, our services are designed with great emphasis on teaching through the whole Bible, cover to cover. Through His Word, God teaches us to know, worship and serve Him.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”  – 2 Timothy 3:16-17

“I have not shunned to declare to you the Whole council of God.”  – Acts 20:27

A Whole Christian

A personal, saving relationship with God through Jesus Christ radically transforms our lives. God’s timeless truths and life-giving Holy Spirit will enable us to live healthy, whole, and fruitful lives.

“If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”   – John 8:31-32

“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”    – John 10:10

Therefore, we make it our goal to:
Experience Him in worship, seek Him in prayer, and enjoy Him as surrendered followers of Jesus Christ. Equip men and women to become mature, fruitful disciples of Jesus Christ. Strengthen the family as God’s ordained institution for whole and healthy relationships. Invest in our youth in order to strengthen the next generation, that they will know Him and make Him known.

The Whole World

We believe that reaching “the lost” with the Gospel of Jesus Christ is our mission and that mission is essential for a healthy church.  Therefore, we proclaim Christ’s message through local outreaches, missions trips, and partnerships with like-minded missionaries and organizations.

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”  – Mark 16:15

We seek to follow the pattern established in Acts:

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8:

East County is our Jerusalem, San Diego is our Judea, the United States is our Samaria, and being involved in the whole world is our goal!
